I've been drawing floor plans since I was four. Literally. The house I grew up in, reorganised on paper, over and over, until it made sense in a way I couldn't yet articulate.
I still do the same thing now, just in SketchUp.
I'm a designer based in Amsterdam - Malaysian by origin, Dutch by choice, hiker by necessity. I founded suprklein because I kept seeing the same thing: homes built for efficiency, not for living. Rooms placed without asking what it would feel like to be inside them. Toilets next to kitchens. Bedrooms with no windows. Spaces that quietly tell the people inside them that they weren't worth thinking about.
I work remotely, which means I've looked at floor plans from the Netherlands, Malaysia, Belgrade, the UK, Melbourne, and everywhere in between. If your home isn't working and you'd like someone to look at it properly - I'd love to hear about it.
