I've been drawing floor plans since I was four. Literally. The house I grew up in, reorganised on paper, over and over, until it made sense in a way I couldn't yet articulate. Architecture school years later just gave that obsession a name.
I still do the same thing now, just in SketchUp.
I'm a designer based in Amsterdam - Malaysian by origin, Dutch by choice, hiker by necessity. I founded suprklein because I kept seeing the same neglect in how homes are designed: bedrooms with no windows, toilets that open out to kitchens, rooms that make no sense for how people actually live. Spaces that quietly tell the people inside them that nobody thought carefully about them. That neglect is what suprklein exists to undo.
I work remotely, which means I've looked at floor plans from the Netherlands, Malaysia, Belgrade, the UK, Melbourne, and everywhere in between. If your home isn't working and you'd like someone to look at it properly - I'd love to hear about it.
